But Iterable CEO Justin Zhu said in an interview with Crunchbase News that even though the company didn’t need the money, it’s better positioned now going into next year.

“The general advice is to raise money when you don’t need it, so that’s the strategy we took and we’re now in a much stronger position and we can focus on growing without having to worry about what happens next year with markets, the election, things like that.”

“The companies that need us the most are the ones who have been around for decades and don’t have anything close to this kind of technology,” Zhu said.
